After a fit call, fill the proposal pages the same day: a cover letter, your understanding and approach, then scope, timeline, and investment together, so the price sits next to the work. Send the rate card when someone asks what you charge and the work is hourly or ongoing. There is an hourly and daily card, a package card, and a one-page package comparison a client can hold next to a budget. Date every rate card. When a client asks for one more thing, fill the change order before the extra work starts. The short terms page is a one-page summary clients actually read (not a substitute for a full contract), and the acceptance page is where the start date gets signed. Print the pages, or type in Preview or Acrobat and send them as one PDF.
